What is Search 185?
Search 185 is a podcast hosted by Henry Avila, with cohost Jody Czajkoski and executive producer Sam Medlock. The conversations explore Scripture, Catholic theology, Christian discipleship, Church history, and questions about faith and everyday life.
Do I need to start with Episode 1?
No. Begin with the question that is on your mind. Our Start Here guide offers listening paths, and the Topics library groups conversations around Scripture, Catholic faith, faith and doubt, and living the faith.
Where can I watch or listen?
Watch on YouTube, or listen through Spotify and Apple Podcasts. You can also browse all of our watching and listening platforms.
What is the difference between an episode and a segment?
A full episode follows the complete conversation. A segment focuses on one question or part of that conversation. Each segment page links back to its parent episode when that relationship has been verified, so you can continue exploring.
Do I have to be Catholic to listen?
Search 185 is rooted in Catholic theology and welcomes honest questions. The Start Here guide can help you choose a conversation that meets you where you are.
Are study notes available?
Some episodes have PDF study resources. Visit Resources for the available documents. Not every episode has a study guide or a transcript, and we only link material that is available.
Can I send Henry a question or suggest a guest?
Yes. Use Contact to share a question, episode idea, or guest inquiry. Please keep your message focused on the podcast and avoid including sensitive personal details.
Keep asking. Keep searching.
